Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Miser Magister website and apps at misermagister.com (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
The Service
Miser Magister provides educational apps, games, and tools. We may add, change, or remove features at any time.
Accounts
Some features require an account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity under your account, and you agree to provide accurate information. You must be at least 13 years old to register or use Miser Magister. The Service is not intended for children under 13, as described in our Privacy Policy.
Acceptable use
- Do not misuse the Service, attempt to break its security, or disrupt it for others.
- Do not use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to infringe others’ rights.
- Do not resell or redistribute access to the Service without our permission.
Premium memberships and billing
- Premium features may be offered for a recurring subscription fee, processed by Stripe.
- Unless stated otherwise, subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel.
- You can cancel at any time; your premium access continues until the end of the current paid period. See our Refund Policy for details.
- Prices may change; we will give notice of changes before they apply to your next renewal.
AI features (bring-your-own-key)
Certain features let you connect your own third-party AI provider using your own API key. You are responsible for that key, for any costs your provider charges you, and for complying with your provider’s terms. AI-generated output may be inaccurate; you are responsible for how you use it.
Intellectual property
The Service, including its content, design, and software, is owned by Miser Magister and protected by law. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable license to use the Service. You retain ownership of content you create or upload.
Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for any particular purpose.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Miser Magister will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will revise the effective date above when we do; continued use of the Service means you accept the updated Terms.
